Following two Africa Climate Summits and numerous Conference of the Parties (COP) meetings, African leaders have continued to highlight the disproportionate burden borne by African countries in addressing climate change impacts. This webinar will explore future-oriented political ecology, climate finance, reparations, and alternative approaches to addressing Africa's development, wellbeing, and environmental challenges.
Participants will engage with critical discussions on topics including climate adaptation, mitigation, loss and damage financing, illicit financial flows, governance challenges, resource management, and pathways for sustainable development across the continent.
