Bongani Kubheka

Baritone, from Newcastle, KZN, graduated from UCT in 2017 after obtaining his Masters from the Welsh International Academy of Voice in 2016.

Credits include: 1st prize ATKV Muziqanto competition (2018), Fleur du Cap award (2019), prizes at the Schock Foundation Prize for Singing, the Amazwi Omzansi Competition and the Stuart Burrows International Competition; finalist in the 2015 Operalia competition.

Roles while at UCT included: Don Basilio Il barbiere di Siviglia, Lord Sydney Il Viaggio a Reims, The Puppet Master Postcard from Morocco and Dottore Grenvil La traviata.
