2026 DKIS Bursary Recipient

The Department of Knowledge and Information Stewardship (DKIS) is pleased to congratulate Morag Cannoo, recipient of the 2026 DKIS Bursary Award.

Each year, an internal departmental committee reviews applications from students enrolled in the PGDipLIS programme, both Full-Time and Block Release. Subject to available funding, the Department aims to award either one full tuition bursary or two bursaries covering 50% of tuition fees.

Recognising the limited funding opportunities available to postgraduate diploma students, DKIS is committed to supporting student success through bursary assistance. This funding is made possible through the generous support of the Hilda Buyskes Memorial Trust and the P.A. Spilhaus Memorial Trust.

We congratulate Morag on this achievement and wish her every success in her studies.
