The Humanities Reference Guide has been designed as a user friendly reference tool kit for first year students and beyond. Its aim is to guide students through the particular referencing requirements of the fifteen academic departments that comprise the Faculty of Humanities.

The Reference Guide begins with tips on how to manage multiple sources as well as how to paraphrase readings. It details the features of the four main referencing styles: Harvard, Chicago, MLA and APA, with clear examples of in-text references and items in the reference list. In addition, the guide contains a 'frequently asked questions' section and provides links for further queries and information.
