Zainab Adams
Zainab Adams has worked in the NGO sector for 23 years, advancing environmental justice. She previously worked as the Faith Leader Environmental Training Coordinator for Southern African Faith Communities Environment Institute (SAFCEI) for six years where she coordinated and facilitated environmental advocacy programmes for faith leaders from diverse backgrounds throughout Southern and East Africa. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Environmental Monitoring Group, an environmental NGO is Cape Town.
At Environmental Humanities South, Zainab is the Administrative Offer. She holds an Advance Certificate in Adult and Community Education from the University of Cape Town, and has a strong foundation in working with grassroots communities and the broader NGO sector. Her interests are located within Adult learning practices and network building.
