Dr Ala Alhourani

Dr Ala Alhourani is lecturer and researcher affiliated to the project Islam, African Publics and Religious Values, since 2017. His PhD ethnography focused on Islam and Muslim in South Africa. His research interests are the study of religion in contemporary society, virtue ethics, Islamic studies, postcolonial critique, and aesthetic theory. He is a writer and a filmmaker.
