Who: Postgrad students, staff and researchers in the department
Refreshments will be served!
We have set the date for our Postgraduate Research Presentation Day for Tuesday, 22 October 2024 – PLEASE SAVE THE DATE!
The Postgraduate Research Presentation gives Masters by coursework, research Masters and PhD candidates the opportunity to present their thesis work to the department.
Postgraduates are required to attend as part of their education and as a source of support to their colleagues. Honours students need to consult with PG convener, Prof Sa'diyya Shaikh about attendance.
All PG researchers (Coursework Masters (those registered for the Dissertation Course), Research Masters and PhD students) will be required to present at least once each year.
Presenting at the post-graduate research day provides an exceptionally useful opportunity for:
Developing presentation skills;
Re-thinking aspects of one's work based on constructive comments;
Gaining new insights and inspiration from fellow students working on related topics
