Dr Stephanie Smith

Dr. Stephanie H. Smith is a temporary Senior Lecturer in the Department for the Study of Religions and convener for the REL1006S and REL2048S courses. She has been a Guest Lecturer with the department since 2017. She completed her PhD in History at Ohio State University and previously held the position of Assistant Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. In addition to guest lecturing at UCT, she works as a scriptwriter for TED-Ed.
