International Students

An annual International Fee (not applicable to local or SADC students) is levied every year of registration.
SADC students are levied an annual Administrative Service Fee.

POSTGRADUATE FUNDING AT UCT

UCT financial assistance is only available to full-time students. Funding for South African postgraduate students Complete the Postgraduate Funding Application as part of your application for admission to UCT. Please refer to the Postgraduate Funding Office (PGFO) website: http://www.students.uct.ac.za/students/fees-funding/postgraduate-degree-funding/applications-requirements for details.

FUNDING FOR INTERNATIONAL POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS

UCT has a limited number of scholarships available for international and refugee students. You must access and complete Form 10C. UCT international and refugee student scholarships are NOT full cost awards. Please obtain sufficient funding from other sources.

Before applying to the Postgraduate Funding Office for funding, you must submit your UCT application (http://applyonline.uct. ac.za). Information and Application Form 10C can be obtained from the Postgraduate Funding Office - or from the Office’s website: http://www.students.uct.ac.za/students/fees-funding/postgraduate-degree-funding/applications-requirements

The closing date for applications for UCT international and refugee students’ scholarships and supporting documentation is 31 July 2022.

Please return the completed Form 10C direct to the Postgraduate Centre and Funding Office. Late and/or incomplete applications will not be considered

The deadlines for the UCT- administered awards vary from July to the end of October and usually pre-date the deadline for application submissions, so please submit your financial applications in on time if you are considering applying for a degree.
