DKIS Annual Research Prize Winner: Martin Hipangwa

The Department of Knowledge and Information Stewardship is proud to announce at the 2025 DKIS Annual Research Prize, Martin Hipangwa, PhD candidate, was the winner of the DKIS Annual Research Presentation Award.
During the virtual Annual Research Day held on 28 November, Hipangwa presented from 14:10 to 14:30 on his study titled “Critical Workplace Information Literacy Framework for Public Sector Professionals: A Case of Selected Government Ministries in Namibia.” His research highlights the importance of strengthening information literacy skills within the public sector to support better decision-making and service delivery.
The department congratulates Martin Hipangwa on this achievement and acknowledges the valuable contribution his work makes to advancing information literacy in the African public sector.
