The UCT TV Studio equipment is available free of charge to CFMS students who have experience and/or training on the equipment and are registered for the following production courses: FAM2014S, FAM3016F, FAM3017S, FAM4000W, FAM4012H, FAM5012W and FAM5015W. Terms and conditions apply. CFMS production students can book online and collect the gear they need at set times.
During university vacations and low equipment use periods, UCT TV Studio hires out some of their film equipment to UCT departments and faculties at a nominal fee. Our equipment hiring rate card is available upon request. You can book equipment here.
