The SACM at the University of Cape Town offers world-class performances of African and world music, classical, jazz, opera and technology-inspired compositions on a weekly basis throughout the academic year on Tuesday evenings, and Wednesday and Thursday Lunch Hours.

Attend Symphony Concerts, Jazz Concerts, Symphonic Wind Ensemble Concerts, Operas, Big Band Jazz Concerts, Guest Artist Recitals and many more first-rate SACM performances at the Baxter, SACM and other venues around the Cape.
Friends of the College support the SACM by purchasing a set of 15 vouchers at a generous discount price before the concert year starts to boost the concerts fund at the beginning of the year. Further vouchers may then be purchased at a pro-rata rate throughout the concert year. Tickets are transferable, so family and friends may attend concerts with you or even without you. This also makes them the perfect gift.
A few concerts are not valid for the FOC series, but those are concert collaborations organised by other organisations and will be listed as such.
Prices:
R890 for 15 performance vouchers, which works out at R60 per performance, while normal prices range from R75 to R100, and from R150 to R380 for opera productions.
