Amy Campbell is a Cape Town based vocalist, musician and musical theatre actress. With her roots in jazz, obtaining her BMus in Jazz Performance from UCT with a double major in piano and singing, she has been a professional musician for over 10 years in and around Cape Town and has toured the world to play on many international stages including at the Stockholm Jazz Festival in Sweden and the Arcevia Jazz Festival in Italy as well as singing at jazz clubs in Australia and Namibia.

She is a seasoned big band singer, performing with many big bands and show bands including the MC Big Band and the National Youth Jazz Band at the Joy of Jazz Festival in Johannesburg. She has made many numerous television and radio appearances and is the head judge for the Fine Music Radio Bursary Jazz Competition. She wears many hats as a performer, having won South Africa’s Got Talent in 2017 with her a cappella group AnecNote, as well as many featured theatre credits which include: In Between (Mixing Bowl Productions 2015), Cheers To Broadway (Mixing Bowl Productions, 2015 and 2016), Private Parts (Mixing Bowl Productions, 2016), No Jazz Hands Allowed (Mixing Bowl Productions 2017), Tiger Bay (Cape Town Opera, 2017), Nicola in Kinky Boots (The Fugard Theatre, 2019) and most recently, Your Song-The Music Of Elton John (Theatre On The Bay, 2022). She is a vocal coach at LAMTA (The Luittingh Alexander Musical Theatre Academy) at Theatre on the Bay and the leader of the UCT Jazz Choir at the South African College of Music.
