Marc de Kock

Marc de Kock has been one of the top session musicians and jazz saxophonists in Cape Town for over two decades. He graduated from UCT in 2000 with an honors degree in jazz performance. He is often a first-call session saxophonist on live shows and studio sessions and also one of the top saxophone teachers in South Africa. Marc is currently the senior saxophone teacher at Rondebosch Boys’ High School in Cape Town. He was also appointed conductor of the Standard Bank National School Jazz Band for 2015 and 2023.
