Nomapostile Nyiki

Nomapostile Nyiki is a composer, vocalist, and coach specialising in African music, as well as an African string specialist. She is a teacher of African music and creative arts. Since graduating, she has performed extensively both locally and internationally, collaborating with a diverse range of artists from multiple genres. Nomapostile is currently teaching at Beau Soleil Music Centre, Westerford High School, and the University of Cape Town (UCT). At these institutions, she trains young musicians to value and participate in all aspects of their musical heritage, maintaining a high standard in terms of authentic representation of her culture through traditional performance practices.
