The 3rd State of South Africa’s Fathers Report (SOSAF 2024) was launched on 4 February 2025, with contributions from UCT Psychology Masters students and Dr Mandisa Malinga.

Associate Professor Debbie Kaminer and co-authors received the award for Best Paper of 2023 from the European Journal of Psychotraumatology.

At an awards ceremony on 23rd October 2024, Professor Cathy Ward was inaugurated as a member of the Academy of Science of South Africa (ASSaf).

Professor Wahbie Long received the 2024 UCT Meritorious Book Prize for his book Nation on the Couch: Inside South Africa's Mind.
