Background and research interests

  • The study of cognitive intraindividual variability (IIV), including methods of capturing IIV data, statistical approaches to the analysis of IIV data, exploring the neurophysiological mechanisms of IIV, and the utility of using IIV to predict the rate of cognitive deterioration in normal and pathological aging.
  • The effects of socioeconomic status on neurocognitive functions.
  • How cultural norms impact cognitive strategies.

Teaching responsibilities

  • Introductory and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Applied cognitive psychology.
  • Cognitive neuroscience and abnormal psychology.

Selected research outputs
