Education: MA Neuropsychology (Psychology Dept, UCT); PhD Candidate (Dept. of Paediatrics and Child Health, UCT)

Background and Research Interests: Neuropsychology (Paediatrics). My PhD research examines patterns of maternal depression and its impact on child brain development, specifically the development of early emergent executive functions.

Teaching Responsibilities: The majority of my teaching is on the Neuropsychology Master’s Program where my focus is on paediatrics. I am also involved in the training and supervision of our second-year master’s students. Their training takes place at our Neuropsychology clinic situated at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.

I also teach on the Abnormal Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience, second year course (PSY 2014S). My teaching specifically focuses on Brain Structure and Function.
