About the speaker: Franziska Dübgen is a professor of philosophy at the University of Münster, Germany. Her research interests include transcultural philosophy, epistemic injustice, African philosophy, critical theory, philosophy of law, critical philosophy of race and gender. She published, together with Stefan Skupien, an anthology on African political philosophy (Afrikanische Politische Philosophie. Postkoloniale Positionen, Suhrkamp 2015) as well as the monograph Paulin Hountondji. African Philosophy as Critical Universalism (Palgrave Press 2019).
