Professor Olle Törnquist presents on social democratic development

Olle Törnquist, Professor of Political Science at the University of Oslo, Norway, presented an afternoon seminar on Reinventing Social Democratic Development: Insights from Indian and Scandinavian Comparisons on February 26. Professor Törnquist discussed his recent book with this title. His other publications include Reclaiming the State: Overcoming Problems of Democracy in Post-Soeharto Indonesia (edited with Amalinda Savirani, 2015) and Democratization in the Global South: The Importance of Transformative Politics (co-edited with Kristian Stokke, 2013).
