About

While activists and scientists have been speaking about the urgency of addressing the climate crisis for the last 50 years, governments and big corporations continue with business as usual. How can creative storytelling, science and activism intersect to amplify the need to take clear and decisive action to change our dependency on fossil fuels, harmful extractive practices and the mass-commercialisation and privatisation of basic needs such as food and water?

Join the Climate Story Collective Climate Jam, supported by the University of Cape Town’s Centre for Film and Media Studies, at DFM as we throw out ideas for strategic creative collaborations that address the climate crisis.

Presented at the Durban FilmMart on Sunday 24 July 2022 | 09:00 - 09:50am | Conference Floor, Southern Sun Elangeni Hotel
