Justin Verity

Justin Verity is a passionate and driven PhD Student at the Institute for Democracy, Citizenship and Public Policy in Africa. He holds a Master in Social Science in Sociology from the University of Pretoria. 

Justin Verity's PhD work is currently focusing on the informal sector and how social protection can be extended to those who operate within it, this focus is based in both Botswana and South Africa with specific attention to informal produce sellers.

Justin Verity is working with Afrobarometer as a research assistant in the Data Management department, where he is working closely with Mohammad Nejib Ben Saad on post-data collection cleaning.
