Dr Thomas Isbell

Dr. Thomas Isbell is a Lecturer of survey design and quantitative research methodology at the University of Cape Town. He is also a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Democracy, Citizenship and Public Policy in Africa and working for the Afrobarometer Survey and Research Network out of Cape Town. 

He completed a PhD at UCT on the consequences of perceptions of inequality on democratic legitimacy in Sub-Saharan Africa. He has a strong background in data collection, data analysis and data visualization in the developmental context.
