Lucy Strauss is a musician and researcher studying the experience of music within the performing body. This exploration spans viola performance, movement computing, machine learning, and music technology.

Lucy is currently pursuing a PhD at Goldsmiths University of London (CHASE fellowship), and an Artist Residency at the Creative Microbiology Research Co-Lab, University of Johannesburg. She holds a BMus (Composition) from the University of Cape Town and an MMus (Performance) from the University of British Columbia (OMT scholarship).
