Sandra Zannou

Postdoctoral Research Fellow: Africa AI Ethics

Sandra Zannou  is a socio-anthropologist specialising in health. She obtained a PhD in Social Anthropology and an MA in Anthropology from the University of Abomey-Calavi (UAC) in the Republic of Benin. Her doctoral research analyses the care trajectories of breast cancer patients based on cases observed at the National University Hospital Center/Hubert Koutoukou Maga (CNHU/HKM) in Cotonou, Benin. Sandra was a research assistant and member of the Socio-anthropological Research Laboratory on Organised Systems and Mobilities (LASMO) at the UAC. She has contributed to research on the empowerment of women for the World Bank and on the exploitation and mobility of children and young people for Educo Benin.
