Our ScreenCubator program offers alumni of the Stepping Stone course and UCT screen production students access to professional-grade equipment and facilities. We evaluate project proposals year-round, and many of our supported productions have gone on to screen at festivals and win prestigious awards like the SAFTAs.
A collaboration between UCT and Sunshine Cinema
Running since 2020, the five-month UCT Sunshine Cinema Film Impact Facilitator short course offers online training on using film as a tool for social change. It also provides access to a network of inspiring change makers and introduces participants to skilled impact producers.
