Over the course of the RETAGS Project, there will be fellowship offered in an academic and creative sphere. Academically, there will be two postdoctoral fellowships hosted, two PhD scholarships and up to ten MA scholarships. These fellows/scholars will work closely with the principal investigator, Prof. Mark Fleishman, and conduct various research tasks that may include field work within the continent and beyond; and will be expected to produce research articles of publishing standard. Creatively, each of the four public performances will host creative fellows that will contribute to the production in a significant way.
The First Postdoctoral Fellowship was awarded in 2019 to Dr. Olalekan Balogun.
The Second Postdoctoral Fellowship was awarded in 2022 to Dr. Malavika Rao.
