The Department of Psychology at the University of Cape Town mourns the passing of Professor Kurt Danziger, who died on the evening of 10 August 2026 at the age of 100.

Professor Floretta Boonzaier returned from a Tokyo College Visiting Professorship, advancing decolonial feminist research on violence and trauma, delivering lectures and seminars, and building research collaborations across Japan.
