Professor Anthony Bogues visited UCT as a Mellon Visiting Fellow in July and August 2012 where he gave four public lectures as well as four student seminars.

In addition, he participated in a workshop as a project leader of Curate Africa, a pan-African archive and photographic initiative between the Centre for African Studies, Centre for Curating the Archive and the Michaelis School of Fine Art.
