PGDipLIS bursary recipient for 2024

The Department of Knowledge & Information Stewardship is pleased to announce that Tshiamo Mangwedi (pictured) is the recipient of the Hilda Buyskes bursary for 2024. Each year, the department awards a bursary to a deserving Postgraduate Diploma in Library and Information Studies (PGDipLIS) student who, among other things, demonstrates a passion for the LIS discipline. The 2024 award is valued at R51,000 to cover the cost of full tuition for the PGDipLIS.
