"Psychosocial support should be a key element of mental health interventions for caregivers of children in HIV-endemic communities."  This recommendation by Dr Marisa Casale follows her doctoral study into the protective role of social support for caregiver's mental health. 

Dr Casale graduated with a Ph.D. from UCT in 2013, under the supervision of Dr Lauren Wild.
