MASTERS STUDENT WINS AWARD AT PSYSSA CONGRESS
At the 2018 PsySSA Congress, Haile Matutu received the award for best student presentation from the journal Feminism & Psychology and Psychological Society of South Africa- Sexualities & Gender Division. Haile is completing his Masters in Psychological Research and is a member of the Psychology Department's Hub for Decolonial Feminist Psychologies in Africa. He received the award for his presentation titled "Reflexive ethics: Countering epistemic violence in research with marginalized populations", which was based on his masters dissertation.
