“The Hub for Decolonial Feminist Psychologies in Africa has produced a documentary entitled Lean In: A Decolonial Feminist Story. The documentary tells the story of the decolonial feminist researchers as part of the Unsettling Knowledge Production on Gendered and Sexual Violence in South Africa Project and their experiences of doing research on GBV. The documentary is a sensitive, emotional, and introspective journey into how it feels for researchers to do research on GBV, and a joyful celebration of the passionate, vibrant, and eclectic community researchers have built to cultivate a space of hope and healing while researching violence.
