IDCPPA report to UCT

The IDCPPA recently reported to the University on its activities between January 2020 and mid-2023.

Highlights of the report included: an impressive publication count (including 9 books or edited collections, 14 book chapters, 51 peer-reviewed journal articles as well as Working Papers and publicly-available survey data-sets from Afrobarometer and other projects) and fund-raising (including more than R 35 million in external funding).

The report also drew attention to some constraints on the IDCPPA’s activities, including the appointment of a permanent director and secure core funding.
