Michaelis School of Fine Art is proud to be exhibiting at Cape Town Art Fair 2014.
The Cape Town Art Fair will once again showcase an exhilarating diversity of work representative of the richness, promise and investment value of art coming out of South Africa.
Cape Town Art Fair’s invited Curator, and Senior Lecturer at Michaelis, Andrew Lamprecht said, “As Cape Town prepares to host the World Design Capital next year, with moves afoot to make it a true global art capital, it can only go from strength-to-strength and enrich the city and her people. We have more galleries than ever before, and the artists who have made their home here are productive and reflect well in terms of the international market and current trends in the art world”.
In line with Michaelis’ tradition of producing outstanding graduates, the booth will showcase the work of recent Master of Fine Art Graduates; Jody Paulsen, Jo Voysey Ashley Walters and Alice Gauntlett. To keep the exhibition dynamic and fresh, one student’s work will be exhibited per day for the four days of the Art Fair.
