Join us for the opening of the Portfolio Development Workshop exhibition on Saturday, 8 June, 11:00-14:00. The Portfolio Development Workshop is a preparatory program for historically disadvantaged applicants who wish to study Fine Art at UCT. This two-semester workshop, offered by the Creative Social Ethics program in collaboration with the UCT Michaelis School of Fine Art, is designed to improve and enhance applicants’ technical and conceptual skills, thus better preparing them for university studies. Classes are held in person at the Michaelis School of Fine Art. The objective of this program is to assist participants to prepare and submit a compelling application for admission to UCT at the conclusion of the program.

The exhibition marks and celebrates the conclusion of the 2024 program and will be on show for one day only at the Michaelis Galleries.
