We are excited to welcome our distinguished alum, Professor Shelley Sacks, for a Lunchtime Lecture on Wednesday, 18 September at 13:00 - 14:00.

Shelley Sacks is an interdisciplinary artist, connective practice and social sculpture practitioner, thought-worker and cultural activist, who writes, teaches, performs, lectures and works across many disciplines to facilitate creative exchanges and interventions that empower people, leading to new ways of seeing and working toward a living future. She is Professor Emerita in Social Sculpture and Connective Practice at Oxford Brookes University. As Director of the Social Sculpture Research Unit [1998-2018] she developed and led graduate programs and global projects such as Earth Forum, Exchange Values, University of the Trees: Lab for New Knowledge and an Eco-Social Future, and the Social Sculpture Lab hosted by the documenta Archive in 2021 for the Joseph Beuys Centenary. She is currently developing the 7000(+) HUMANS Global Social Forest initiative.
