Testing: A Masters work-in-progress group show

Master’s students Tyra Naidoo, Noah Rudolph, Anso van Wyk, and Láura Viruly will set up a shared studio in the Michaelis Galleries. Moving just across campus, the group brings their distinctive practices into a makeshift studio within the main gallery. The four will continue to work in the space from the 17th of April to the 16th of May. Trial-and-error-ing the installation, curatorial relation, or other lesser calculations of their works-in-progress, preparing for their imminent and respective final exhibitions later this year. Testing welcomes you to the studio, the reality of the process, the behind the scenes, the backstage, the tail-end of experimentation within reach of a result.
Join them on the 17th of April at 5pm – 7pm in the Michaelis main gallery, for more of a studio crit than an opening. But honestly, what’s the difference?
Refreshments are free; however, the students’ property is not. Please don’t steal their tools.
Open weekdays 10:00-15:00. Closed on weekends and public holidays.
