Keith Henning
VIRTUAL TOUR
Keith Henning (Pretoria, 1982) is an artist and sculptor focused on a syncretic approach to materiality and form. His work explores themes of identity, sexuality, and the complexities of the human experience, using a variety of media to challenge conventional perceptions and oppressive structures within society, ultimately intended at creating space for new ways to broaden the narratives under which we exist. Henning’s practice employs symbolism in both theory and technique to denote a variety of cultural narratives and personal experiences, arriving at aesthetically-driven works that reside in the liminal space between conceptual and functional art.
