VIRTUAL TOUR

I had a dream on the beach, and the rocks were burning.

The core of my creative research is embracing the unknowability of dreams. The dreamscape is presented as a liminal space of identity formation, situated between my interior world and my perception of reality. Through using my dreams as a therapeutic tool, I investigate the subjectivity of my personal symbolic language. This tactic acknowledged my positionality as well as my personal history albeit hidden from the viewer. This body of work represents these signifiers, offering a tangible manifestation of the inner landscapes that influence and define my artistic inspiration. Through focusing on tactile modes of making like clay sculpture, printmaking, and drawing, I have engaged with materials that echo the malleable nature of lucid dreams. Rather than attempting to analyze these symbols and trying to provide answers, I have delved into the mysteries of the subconscious without the expectation of complete understanding.
