Madelize van der Merwe
Madelize van der Merwe is the Technical Officer in the Printmedia Section, Michaelis School of Fine Art. She has a passion for printmaking and its procedures, specifically because it deals with attention to detail, methodology and precision.
Madelize obtained her B-tech Fine Art Degree from Nelson Mandela University, with distinctions in Printmaking, Painting, Sculpture and Art History. While studying she taught Arts and Culture part-time and travelled after her studies where she taught Creative Development to special needs learners in the UK.
