Honorary doctorate for Johaar Mosaval

Renowned South African ballet master, Johaar Mosaval, was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Cape Town in March 2020. During his career, Mosaval had a string of groundbreaking achievements and rose to the rank of senior principal dancer of the UK’s Royal Ballet by 1965. He was also a pioneeer and a teacher in South Africa.  Johaar Mosaval has been awarded the Doctor of Music (honoris causa) degree.
