Born in Schwäbisch-Gmünd, German trumpeter Tobias Füller studied with Prof. Wolfgang Pohle and Roger Zacks, earning his soloist diploma with honours from the Musikhochschule Mannheim. A former member of the Duisburg Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Hungarica, he has taught at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf and, since 2014, as professor at the Lübeck University of Music.
His international teaching engagements include the Schagerl Brass Festival and music academies in Hamburg, Hanover, and Krakow. Many of his former students perform in leading orchestras worldwide. Drawing on advanced studies in sports physiology and psychology, he has pioneered the integration of life kinetics into instrumental performance to enhance focus and musical excellence.
