At UCT's Staff Annual Awards on 27th November, Professor Wahbie Long received the 2024 UCT Meritorious Book Prize for his book Nation on the Couch: Inside South Africa's Mind. The meritorious book award recognises books authored by UCT academics in specialised fields that merit recognition for their contribution.
