Institute welcomes new Post Doctoral Fellow, Sikhanyiso Masuku

The Institute welcomed three new Post Doctoral Fellows at the start of 2019, including Dr Sikhanyiso Maskuku. Sikhanyiso is a DPhil graduate from the University of KwaZulu Natal. He has strong research interests in the pattern and causes of coerced migration (forced migration drivers) protection gaps and statelessness. Most of his recent work has focused on Congolese refugees and their access to commodity bundles as well as the interplay between social closure, refugee policy implementation gaps, and forced migrant groups heightened vulnerability index.
