The 2019 South African National Election Study

With the approach of the South African national elections next month, a panel of speakers critically examined several topics related to elections and voting, including the voting age population and registered voters, likely voter turnout, trends in partisan identification and presidential approval, and researching social media at election time. Presenters included Tanja Bosch (University of Cape Town), Robert Mattes (University of Strathclyde / University of Cape Town), Reza Omar (Citizen Surveys), Collette Schulz-Herzenberg (Stellenbosch University), and Herman Wasserman (University of Cape Town).
