Dominika Koter gave a special seminar on December 9th on Understanding national identity in Africa: Lessons from Botswana and Ghana. Drawing on extensive interviews in Ghana and Botswana, this research highlightes the impact of political developments, such as elections and political stability in the respective countries, on people’s sense of belonging to the nation.
