Workshop on elections in Southern Africa

The Institute held a workshop on Elections in Southern Africa on December 10 & 11, 2019. The results of elections in Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, and South Africa, along with Zambia's upcoming election, provide an opportunity to interrograte questions like why many incumbents performed strongly and why some opposition parties failed to win presidential elections.
