Political Parties in Africa Project Virtual Conference

The Political Parties in Africa Project (PPA), supported by the Institute for Democracy, Citizenship and Public Policy in Africa (IDCPPA), invites interested students and scholars to attend our upcoming virtual conference on 21 & 22 January and 18 & 19 February 2021.

This conference seeks to develop a more systematic, comparative understanding of the various processes that take place within parties across Africa. A diverse group of scholars will present papers on different aspects of party building and decay, intra-party democracy, candidate selection, campaign mobilization, and voting.
