What changes when the government changes?

In August 2021, Zambia witnessed a significant political change as voters elected a new government. To shed light on the continuities and changes in Zambian politics and public policy before and after the elections, the Institute of Democracy Citizenship and Public Policy in Africa (IDCPPA) is co-hosting a two-day workshop in Lusaka on July 13th and 14th, 2023.

This academic gathering aims to explore a range of topics, including economic challenges and policy, public policy in various sectors, the structure of government, and the dynamics within political parties and civil society.
